Production Manager

Cairn Oil & Gas, a Vedanta Company, India’s largest private oil and gas producer, is looking to hire a Production Manager at our Site S'Yanam in Andhra Pradesh. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves managing workforce activities, optimizing production processes, and maintaining equipment reliability to meet output targets.

Experience Required

12 - 15 yrs experience with degree / Diploma in engineering having held production operation or related experience.

• Manage Daily Operations: Oversee oil & gas production activities at the site, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Optimize Processes: Develop and implement strategies to maximize production and minimize downtime.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to HSE policies, environmental guidelines, and legal regulations.
• Budget & Cost Control: Handle budgeting, forecasting, and cost management for operational activities.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor cross-functional teams, driving alignment with organizational goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyze production data, and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and reduce disruptions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, logistics, procurement, JV partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Emergency & Risk Management: Develop emergency response plans and ensure preparedness for operational incidents.
• Quality & Energy Management: Maintain quality standards, optimize energy usage, and promote sustainability initiatives.
