General Responsibility

To oversee the business operations of the main plant ensuring quality, safety, and required output are met.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities of the Plant Manager will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting with the new hire process – completing second interviews, do initial training, and complete plant tours
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives to new hires and veteran staff
• Provide direction, development and leadership to Production Leads
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all employees
• Control and minimize labor overtime and repair expenses
• Maintain existing equipment; replace, or make adjustments and suggestions to/for plant facilities and equipment when necessary
• Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices
• Track and manage re-orders to avoid stock-outs
• Track stock to minimize stock-outs to maximize output
• Incorporate shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel
• Review established production schedules for all departments to ensure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
