Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and achieving organizational production targets in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily production operations and ensure smooth workflow across all production lines

Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and operational strategies

Ensure maximum efficiency in manpower, machinery, and raw material utilization

Monitor production output to meet quality standards and delivery timelines

Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.)

Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and quality assurance departments

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Manage and mentor production teams, supervisors, and line managers

Analyze production data and prepare performance reports for senior management

Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions

Control production costs and reduce waste and downtime

Drive innovation and process automation where applicable

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 15+ years of experience in production management or related field

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering / Industrial Management / relevant discipline

Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and production planning

Proven leadership experience managing large production teams

Expertise in quality control systems and operational efficiency

Experience in ERP systems and production management software preferred

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
