Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to manage end-to-end garment production operations. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production across our unit and various job work units, ensuring timely arrangement of fabrics and trims, maintaining production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery.

The role requires frequent visits to job working locations and the ability to identify and develop reliable job work partners based on production needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute production schedules based on confirmed orders.
• Monitor daily production output and ensure achievement of required production averages.
• Improve line efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.

2. Job Work Unit Development & Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new job work units as per company requirements.
• Negotiate job work rates and terms.
• Visit and supervise multiple job working locations regularly.
• Ensure smooth coordination between different production stages.

3. Fabric & Trim Coordination

• Coordinate with management for timely procurement and allocation of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
• Ensure materials reach job work units on time, monitor consumption and reduce wastage.

4. Style & Order Follow-Up

• Follow approved samples, tech packs, and buyer specifications.
• Ensure correct style execution at job work units.
• Track style-wise production status and report progress.

5. Quality Control

• Ensure adherence to quality standards at all production stages.
• Conduct inline inspections and coordinate final quality checks.
• Minimize rework and rejection percentages.

6. Delivery & Timeline Management

• Ensure orders are completed as per delivery schedule.
• Take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Coordinate dispatch and finishing processes.

7. Reporting & Coordination

• Submit daily/weekly production reports to management.
• Coordinate with merchandising, stores, accounts, and quality teams.
• Resolve production-related issues effectively.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in garment production.
• Strong knowledge of job work system and vendor development.
• Experience in sourcing and managing job work units.
• Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and costing.
• Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and styles simultaneously.
• Good communication and leadership abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
