We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager (Joinery) to lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily factory activities, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and managing a skilled workforce while aligning operations with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and implement production and operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including technical processes, production, factory planning, scheduling, reporting functions, and quality control
- Manage end-to-end production processes for joinery works
- Align company capabilities with business growth targets and market demand
- Oversee factory staff, supervisors, and production teams
- Ensure production targets and project deadlines are consistently met
- Manage large-scale production schedules, optimize machinery utilization, and ensure efficient manufacturing practices and waste reduction
- Implement and maintain strict quality control systems to ensure precision in all joinery projects and monitor production timelines
- Supervise, mentor, and develop section managers and supervisors to achieve operational excellence
- Prepare and manage operational budgets covering production requirements, machinery, raw materials, and maintenance
- Ensure workplace safety standards are strictly implemented, especially in relation to machinery and chemical handling
- Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams for smooth workflow execution
- Introduce innovative production practices, including optimal material sourcing, waste minimization, and energy-efficient methods
- Monitor operational performance metrics and report to senior management to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Factory Manager in the joinery industry
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery production processes and materials
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
