Production Manager -Ladies Garments (Abayas and/or Dresses)

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Production Manager specializing in Ladies Garments - Abayas (Preferred) and/or Dresses - to join our team in Ajman. In this role you will oversee the full production cycle, manage the tailoring team, ensure quality standards, and maintain efficient workflow across all departments. You will be responsible for daily production planning, resource allocation, in-line quality control, and ensuring that production targets are achieved on time.

Your expertise in abaya and dress production, combined with strong technical knowledge in stitching, embroidery, and pattern making, will be essential to maintaining high-quality output and smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily production activities for abayas and/or dresses
• Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads for tailors and helpers
• Oversee in-line QC and ensure all pieces meet quality standards
• Coordinate with design, cutting, and finishing teams
• Track daily production progress using any production/management tool
• Manage materials usage and ensure optimal efficiency
• Identify bottlenecks, resolve production issues, and maintain workflow discipline
• Ensure timely achievement of production targets
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Ladies Garments production, specifically Abayas and/or Dresses
• Strong hands-on expertise in stitching, embroidery, and pattern making
• Experience with in-line quality control (QC)
• Ability to use any production or task-tracking tool/system
• Resourceful, proactive, and able to manage a busy production floor independently
• Experience supervising tailors and coordinating daily production tasks
• Strong communication skills in Hindi and/or Urdu and English

• Team leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of fabric types, trims, and abaya/dress finishing techniques
