Production Manager - Manufacturing Operations - Lafayette Area

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversee a Key Manufacturing Operations and a Team consisting of Supervisors, Team Leaders and other operations personnel at a 400+ person plant of a global manufacturing company. Description

• Lead operations, managing the work of Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and shop floor personnel.
• Track manufacturing production KPI's identify bottlenecks, improve department efficiency, productivity, safety and cost. Drive 5S initiatives and and continuous improvement through root cause analysis.

Skills & Requirements

• 5-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Production Management or Operations Management.
• Manage 5S, Quality, Production Efficiency, throughput, and Safety.
• Experience managing a team of team leaders and/or supervisors.
• Ideally suited for an experienced Production Supervisor or Operations Manager with a background in high-volume environments.
• Prior experience in Automotive or or a high volume manufacturing is valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and chart creation; ability to read blueprints is required.
• Degree is not required ; we prioritize hands-on leadership and a proven track record in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Ability to commute to Lafayette, IN.
