Production Planning & Scheduling : Develop daily / weekly / monthly production plans, manage job flow based on complexity, machine capacity, and material availability, and adjust schedules as needed.
Team Leadership & Development : Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate production staff (foremen, technicians, workers); track competencies and address issues.
Quality & Safety Management : Implement and enforce quality control programs (first-pass quality); ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Resource & Cost Management : Estimate costs, manage budgets, control resource allocation (materials, tools, machinery), and minimize waste.
Process Optimization : Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), drive continuous improvement, and resolve production bottlenecks.
Coordination & Liaison : Work with Planning, Procurement, Maintenance, Sales, and Loading teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
Technical Oversight : Review drawings (DWGs / BOMs) to ensure feasibility with available resources; oversee machinery maintenance and upgrades.
Qualifications
Proven experience in steel fabrication / structure management with minimum 7 : 10 years' experience.
He must have experience in the Saudi work environment.
Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and equipment.
Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, and inventory management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation knowledge.
