Production Master Planner

Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Production Master Planner for its growing US office and manufacturing facilities located in Suwanee, Georgia. This position will report to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for coordinating the planning and communication of production schedules for all value streams. This position is the primary contact for customer service and order expediting.

Responsibilities
  • Effectively support all value streams in the Crestridge facility in achieving Site KPI’s
  • Expedite requests from account managers
  • Establish and evaluate scheduling priorities and develop production plans accordingly
  • Support purchasing in evaluation of material utilization, inventory, WIP, and cycle counts
  • Assist efforts in ERP implementation, updates, and conversion to include KPI development, tracking, and reporting and variance analysis
  • Work with production and engineering to optimize ERP, machine utilization, and scrap reduction to ensure minimal cost and maximized customer service levels
  • Participate in asset, automation, and capital expense planning and projects as assigned
  • Develop, track, and maintain departmental capacity plans, review backlog and incoming shipping and assist value stream managers in forecast and labor planning
  • Coordinate maintenance activities within production plans
  • Coordinate design changes, design deviation requirements, and configuration changes with design and quality engineers, to include monitoring special orders through the value stream

  • Ability to work effectively in a multitasking environment and work constructively under pressure
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Exceptional computer-based skills and knowledge, including proficiency in MS Office Products
  • Demonstrable problem solving and analytic skills
  • Must possess a strong initiative, be detailed oriented, and be able to plan, coordinate, and prioritize changes
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Education/Relevant Experience/ Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in supply chain or operations in an ERP environment
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of ERP methodologies
