Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production & Operations Manager with a strong background in rotary kiln and mill processes to lead our manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire production cycle, optimize plant efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Duties
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of production operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and efficiency goals
- Manage production planning using ERP systems such as SAP and MRP to optimize resource allocation and meet delivery deadlines
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste
- Oversee plant management activities including equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and process improvements for rotary kilns and mills
- Monitor supply chain performance through analytics, managing inventory levels, procurement, and logistics to support production needs
- Drive quality control measures across all stages of manufacturing to ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements, new project implementations, and operational strategies
Requirements
- Proven experience in production management within manufacturing environments, specifically with rotary kilns or mills preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP systems is essential
- Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies, process improvement, and continuous improvement practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to plant equipment, machinery maintenance, and process troubleshooting
- Excellent skills in supply chain management, logistics analytics, and operations planning
- Ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing technology or related field; additional certifications in Lean or Six Sigma are advantageous

Pay: $61,503.57 - $140,000.00 per year
