Production Packaging Technician

We have two facilities producing Vitamins and Supplements. We are looking to hire additional packaging technicians as our sales increase. Two key traits we look for in new hires is reliability and team oriented individuals. MUST HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING OR PRODUCTION LINES.

We are looking for the best fit for our team. Skills and experience preferred, but no experience is needed for the right people. The position is Monday through Friday 8-5pm. Benefits include:

We train on cGMP compliance and packaged food manufacturing. We mainly put liquid vitamins into bottles, which involves filling, capping, coding, shrinking, and labeling. We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and works well in a team environment. We are a third party manufacturer and are consistently working on new products. Starting pay begins at $20 hourly, with bonus opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Reliable
• Good manual work skills and communication skills

• Must be able to stand for 4 hour periods
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Experience in manufacturing
• Basic math
• High school education or equivalent

Responsibilities:

• Start up and stop equipment
• Work on production line
• Clean production area
• Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies
• Feed or place items onto equipment for processing
• Measure and pour ingredients
• Ensure conformance to specifications
• Mark parts for identification
• Place equipment on conveyor belt for further processing
• Remove product and machine attachments
• Read and interpret gauges
• Record data
• Load and unload processing equipment
• Take instructions from supervisors

Additional Skills a plus:

• cGMP knowledge
• SOP/FDA/OSHA experience
• Assembly line experience
