Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our drone battery manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing production schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of supply chain management principles to enhance productivity and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and quality control, to ensure alignment on production goals.
  • Utilize ERP systems and MRP tools to analyze inventory levels and forecast future production needs.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste throughout the production process.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Conduct supply chain analytics to enhance decision-making related to inventory management and production planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production plans, schedules, and changes in processes.
  • Support plant management in achieving operational excellence through effective planning and resource allocation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in production planning or management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in MRPeasy or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and practices in manufacturing settings.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous.

Pay: $62,000.00 per year
