Position Title: Production Planning, Dispatch, and Logistics Manager ( 10 years Above )

Job Summary: The Production Planning, Dispatch, and Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production planning, dispatch, and logistics processes to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. This role involves coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, organizing dispatch activities, and ensuring timely deliveries to customers. The position requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning:

o Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing production capacity.

o Monitor and analyze production progress, adjusting plans to ensure adherence to timelines.

o Coordinate with production teams, procurement, and inventory management to ensure the availability of necessary materials and resources.

o Identify potential production bottlenecks and propose solutions to ensure smooth operations.

o Ensure accurate data entry in the production planning system and track the status of orders.

  • Dispatch Management:

o Oversee the dispatch department to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped efficiently and accurately.

o Ensure timely dispatch of products to customers and adherence to delivery deadlines.

o Monitor transportation logistics, ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient methods of delivery.

o Work closely with warehouse and transportation teams to coordinate the movement of goods.

o Resolve any issues related to product shipments, including delays, damaged goods, or customer complaints.

  • Logistics Management:

o Coordinate all aspects of the logistics process, including transportation, storage, and inventory control.

o Ensure the timely movement of goods from suppliers to production facilities and from production to customers.

o Collaborate with external logistics providers, ensuring they meet delivery schedules and quality standards.

o Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with third-party logistics companies and freight carriers.

o Monitor and optimize logistics costs and find opportunities for improvement in the transportation process.

  • Inventory Control and Stock Management:

o Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.

o Track and manage stock movements to ensure no stockouts or overstock situations occur.

o Use forecasting and demand planning tools to predict future inventory needs.

o Implement efficient storage methods to maximize warehouse space and reduce costs.

  • Reporting and Analysis:

o Provide regular reports on production planning, dispatch activities, and logistics performance.

o Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, dispatch accuracy, and logistics costs.

o Develop and recommend strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

o Prepare and present management reports detailing performance metrics, challenges, and improvement plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
