Production Planning and Logistics Engineer

In 1966, ERENSAN commenced operations in the heat sector, becoming a pioneer in the Turkish market with its investments and pioneering role in the production of industrial and commercial boilers.The company is headquartered in Istanbul and employs a total of 350 personnel across its operations in Istanbul, Ankara and Yozgat. ERENSAN exports 60% of its production to 80 countries across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, including France, Italy, England, Russia and Spain.

In 2011, ERENSAN joined forces with the global heating sector leader, French GROUPE ATLANTIC, in order to accelerate its local and global growth plans. Following the merger of two large groups, ERENSAN is taking robust steps towards achieving its global targets.ERENSAN continued its investment programme without slowing down and was selected as the Groupe Atlantic R&D Competence Centre in 2017. The company has its own team of engineers in the R&D department, enabling it to design boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and economisers and develop products for different applications.


To support our development, we are looking for a Production Planning & Logistics Engineer to join our teams.

Your main mission is to manage and coordinate production planning and warehouse operations in alignment with supply chain strategies, ensuring material availability, stock accuracy, and efficient production flow to support overall factory performance.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Create, monitor, and control production plans based on sales forecasts and actual demands,
  • Conduct material requirements planning (MRP), initiate purchase requests for raw materials, and manage supply processes,
  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate data entry for production and stock in the ERP system,
  • Monitor stock levels, take actions to meet stock targets, and coordinate with external warehouses,
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers and support development activities for critical suppliers,
  • Coordinate import processes in collaboration with sales and customs teams while ensuring compliance with regulations,
  • Act as the logistics contributor in new product/project launches, track project milestones, and support the supply chain for critical components,
  • Participate in BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and time-method studies on production lines,
  • Develop and execute improvement projects to increase production line capacity and efficiency,
  • Prepare and track daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports,
  • Design and implement flexible solutions to improve process efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

BACKGROUND :


QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Canias & MM modules)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong command of MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of planning, material requirement planning (MRP), and stock control
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Valid B-class driver’s license
  • Completed military service (for male candidates)

Operational & Functional Skills

  • Ability to design and implement efficient, practical workflows or process improvements
  • Ability to follow production flows and translate them into relevant reports or KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail in reporting, tracking and documentation
  • Ability to coordinate actions between departments to ensure operational continuity


SOFT SKILLS :

  • Strong analytical thinking with a structured and solution‑oriented approach
  • Proactive and able to take initiative independently when appropriate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering constructive collaboration
