Responsibilities
- Develop detailed production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints using Excel and ERP systems.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams, procurement, and supply chain departments to align production activities with business objectives.
- Monitor production progress daily, identify potential bottlenecks or delays, and implement corrective actions promptly to maintain schedule adherence.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to ensure optimal inventory levels and material availability for seamless operations.
- Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing production data, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending lean manufacturing practices.
- Collaborate on plant management activities to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and enhance quality control measures across assembly lines.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production schedules, work orders, and supply chain analytics to facilitate transparency and continuous improvement.
- Assist in implementing ERP system enhancements related to production planning and scheduling functionalities.
- Contribute to supply chain management strategies by analyzing operational data to forecast demand accurately and improve overall supply chain responsiveness.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by participating in lean manufacturing projects and process optimization efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in production management or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
- Excel a must to begin, and strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms; experience with MRP modules is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies, and quality control standards.
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics and supply chain management practices to optimize production flow.
- Mechanical knowledge or understanding of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, and plant management is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: $62,058.43 - $74,737.03 per year
