- Process Management and Optimization:
- Develop, implement, and monitor production processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and improve workflow.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality issues.
- Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Assist in the development of production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address delays or changes in demand.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Equipment and Maintenance:
- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to prevent downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including OSHA and other relevant guidelines.
- Conduct safety training and drills to maintain a culture of safety awareness.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions and recommendations to management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the production team, quality assurance, supply chain, and other departments to achieve production goals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address production challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in steel pole production or a similar industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing process design, and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate production teams, manage projects, and implement process improvements.
