Production Planning Manager

Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive production plans aligned with customer demands and business objectives
• Utilize SAP, ERP systems, and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to coordinate materials procurement, inventory levels, and production schedules
• Lead process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to analyze logistics data and optimize inventory management and delivery timelines
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication between production, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain departments

Requirements

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of supply chain analytics and operations management
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, MRP software, and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Excel advanced level (vlookup, zlookup, formulas)
• Solid mechanical knowledge with an understanding of plant machinery, assembly processes, and process improvement techniques such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Demonstrated ability to lead plant management activities including resource planning, workflow optimization, and team leadership
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to supply chain management and production metrics
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate across departments and drive initiatives forward
