Production Scheduler

Job Summary:

Responsible for participating in the development and coordinating the execution of the production plan in collaboration with the toll blender, while ensuring accurate raw material management, system transactions, and stock reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Production Planning & Coordination

• Participate in the development of the production plan and coordinate its execution with various parties at toll blender (blending, filling, warehousing, bulk receipts, QC & maintenance team).
• Ensure the production schedule is communicated clearly and followed by all relevant parties
• Monitor and track production progress against the approved plan and flag deviations in a timely manner
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, and the toll blender to resolve scheduling conflicts

Raw Materials Management

• Coordinate all raw material receipts in line with the production plan
• Monitor raw material inventory levels to avoid production stoppages
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of raw materials
• Perform regular reconciliation of raw material stocks with the toll blender

System Transactions & Reporting

• Complete all required production transactions accurately in the ERP system
• Maintain up-to-date production records and documentation
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, stock levels and variances
• Identify and escalate discrepancies between system records and physical stock

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve production scheduling efficiency
• Support process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function
• Contribute to reducing waste and improving lead times in the production cycle

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years experience in plant blending & filling operations, production planning, supply chain operations, preferably lubricants business or similar industries
