Position Description:
The Suspension Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and quality assurance of suspension systems on mobile medical units. This role ensures all vehicles meet safety, performance, and regulatory standards while supporting the production team in delivering high-quality, reliable mobile healthcare solutions.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
· Install, assemble, and align suspension systems on mobile medical units, including · High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Technical certification in automotive technology, diesel mechanics, or related field preferred.
· springs, shocks, axles, and related components.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot suspension-related issues during production and post-installation inspections.
· Perform quality checks to ensure all suspension systems meet company standards and DOT compliance requirements.
· Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve suspension performance and durability.
· Read and interpret schematics, and technical manuals.
· Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
· Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any defects or inconsistencies.
· Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Skills:
· Strong understanding of vehicle suspension systems, including heavy-duty and specialty vehicles.
· Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret mechanical data.
· Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a production environment.
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Technical certification in automotive technology, diesel mechanics, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
· Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and working under vehicles.
· Ability to work in a production/shop environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
Remote Work: This role will be primarily office/shop based. If the need arises to work remote, including nights and weekends, employees are expected to work in a secure location to protect company data and have stable high-speed internet.
Additional requirements:
This is a full-time position. Employees are expected to work a general schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. Employees may be required to work beyond the standard schedule to meet the deliverables and expectations of the role. Employees working from home, like those in an office, should use their time wisely and constructively plan their day since there is limited daily oversight.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
