JOB SUMMARY:
Motivates, develops, and directs the work of production employees to ensure the manufacture of products consistent with Company expectations and customer requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee complaints and resolving problems with the assistance of Human Resources; maintaining positive employee-employer relations; and handling confidential employee issues with discretion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field, with three years of supervisory or lead experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read English and understand sketches, routings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders. Must possess excellent writing skills. All communications must be thorough and handled with professional expertise.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Requires considerable initiative and decision-making judgment. Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, assess priorities to meet deadlines, recognize workflow, and carefully plan short and long-term projects. Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to think strategically and effectively work as part of a team.
