Production Supervisor

Reporting To: Production Manager

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production activities on the

shop floor, ensuring work is executed as per approved plans, quality standards are maintained, and

timelines are met. This role acts as the key link between the Production Manager and the execution

team.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Production Supervision

• Supervise daily production activities including printing, fabrication, finishing, and assembly.

• Ensure job cards, drawings, and instructions are followed accurately.

• Monitor progress and immediately flag delays or issues to the Production Manager.

Execution & Quality Control

• Conduct first-level quality checks during and after production.

• Ensure correct materials, finishes, and specifications are used.

• Identify and rectify quality issues before dispatch or installation.

Manpower & Discipline

• Supervise technicians, operators, and helpers assigned to production tasks.

• Ensure attendance, discipline, productivity, and safe working practices.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with design and pre-production teams for clarifications.

• Assist during loading, dispatch, and site handover when required.

• Provide regular status updates to the Production Manager.

Core Capabilities & Requirements

• Experience in signage, printing, or event production environments.• Strong hands-on understanding of production workflows.

• Ability to read basic drawings and production instructions.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
