Job Overview

Alba Engineering is looking for a proactive Production Supervisor to manage daily shop-floor operations, ensure production targets are achieved, and maintain high quality and safety standards. The role requires strong coordination between production staff, quality control, and management to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure smooth workflow on the shop floor.
• Monitor production output and ensure targets, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
• Manage production workers and coordinate shift operations.
• Ensure proper use and handling of raw materials, tools, and machinery.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team to maintain product standards.
• Identify production issues and work with management to implement improvements.
• Maintain production reports, shift records, and performance data.
• Ensure workplace safety and compliance with factory procedures.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Supply Chain with technical knowledge of manufacturing processes,

OR

• Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Technology with relevant experience.

Note:
Candidates with relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing or production supervision may be considered even if their academic degree is not directly related.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preffered.
• Experience supervising shop-floor staff will be an advantage.

Skills Required

• Basic technical understanding of manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Ability to read production schedules and coordinate workflow.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
