Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role coordinates production activities, supervises team members, and works closely with departments such as quality, maintenance, and supply chain to meet production goals and resolve issues quickly. The Production Supervisor plays an important role in maintaining company standards, supporting continuous improvement, and helping the organization meet overall business objectives.
2nd Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1:30am
Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet scheduling, quality, and efficiency goals

Lead, train, coach, and support production employees to ensure strong performance and adherence to safety procedures

Provide daily direction on the manufacturing floor and communicate priorities clearly to team members

Monitor production processes, materials, and equipment to identify and resolve operational issues in a timely manner

Partner with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to support product quality, equipment reliability, and production flow

Promote and enforce compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable industry standards

Support continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve workplace safety

Manage non-conformances and assist with corrective and preventive actions as needed

Organize equipment repair and routine maintenance to minimize downtime

Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports for management review

Order materials and equipment as needed to support production operations

Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred

Printing or label manufacturing experience is a plus

Strong leadership and team management skills

Working knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production-related systems

Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments

Knowledge of GMP, forklift operation, ISO 9001, OSHA regulations, and workplace safety practices preferred

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methods is a plus

Annual Salary for this role starts at $78,000.00.
