Production Supervisor - Air conditioning materials

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations related to air conditioning materials and components (such as insulation panels, ducts, copper tubing assemblies, filters, or sheet metal parts). This role ensures production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:Production Management

• Supervise daily production activities to meet output and quality targets.
• Allocate manpower and monitor workflow on the production floor.
• Ensure proper utilization of machinery, tools, and materials.
• Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams for material availability.

Quality Control

• Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.
• Monitor production processes and implement corrective actions.
• Work closely with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety policies and procedures on the shop floor.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox meetings.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and environmental regulations.

Team Leadership

• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff.
• Manage shift schedules and attendance.
• Motivate teams to improve productivity and efficiency.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily production reports.
• Monitor KPIs (output, downtime, scrap rate, efficiency).
• Report performance issues and improvement plans to management.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in HVAC or air conditioning materials.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of production planning and quality systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
