Production Supervisor (Joinery & Metal)

Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations of the Joinery, Painting, and Metal Divisions, ensuring all works are executed according to design drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. The role involves technical understanding of shop drawings, preparation of cutting lists, supervision of production teams, quality control, and coordination of delivery and installation schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Planning

• Review and interpret project and shop drawings accurately.
• Prepare detailed cutting lists and material requirements based on approved drawings.
• Coordinate with design and estimation teams to clarify technical details.

2. Supervision & Execution

• Supervise all joinery, painting, and metal works production activities.
• Ensure proper workflow and task allocation to achieve daily and weekly production targets.
• Monitor and guide craftsmen and technicians to maintain workmanship standards.
• Oversee surface preparation, painting, polishing, and finishing works to ensure consistency and quality.

3. Quality Control & Inspection

• Conduct regular quality checks during and after production.
• Ensure adherence to approved samples, specifications, and finishing requirements.
• Supervise final delivery inspections and approve finished items prior to dispatch.
• Maintain records of inspection reports and non-conformance issues.

4. Coordination & Management

• Coordinate between production, procurement, and project/site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Plan production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, paints, and accessories.

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, painting processes, and metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD/shop drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Eye for detail with strong quality awareness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
