About the Role

Plant Girl Floral is seeking a dependable and hardworking Production & Warehouse Assistant to support our wedding and event operations. This position combines logistics, warehouse organization, flower processing, and event support. The ideal candidate enjoys physical, hands-on work, is highly organized, and is comfortable working independently while ensuring our studio remains clean, organized, and event-ready.

ResponsibilitiesFloral Production Support

• Process, hydrate, and prep fresh flowers upon arrival
• Flower cleaning, bunching, and organization
• Prepare and clean vessels, candles, mechanics, and supplies for upcoming events
• Organize and maintain floral cooler inventory

Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
• Organize rental inventory, vases, candles, and event décor
• Clean workstations, sinks, coolers, and common areas
• Dispose of floral waste, cardboard, recycling, and trash in designated dumpsters
• Assist with inventory management and supply organization

Logistics & Transportation

• Pick up flowers and supplies from the airport and local vendors
• Complete at least one weekend night pickup each week (10pm or later)
• Assist with loading and unloading floral shipments and event materials
• Help prepare vehicles and event equipment for upcoming weddings and events

Schedule

This position follows a flexible schedule that supports the needs of our wedding and event production calendar.

Required Availability:

• One weekend evening/night pickup per week (higher pay rate)
• Flexible hours on Sundays and/or Mondays
• Longer afternoon and evening shifts on Tuesdays
• Additional hours may be available during peak wedding season
• This job is from May-September 2026

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate
• Premium pay rate for weekend night pickups
• Opportunity for additional hours during busy wedding and holiday seasons

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds+ regularly
• Comfortable driving to airport cargo facilities and local suppliers
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Floral, warehouse, event, or logistics experience is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
