Production Welder/Fabricator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the capability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process. Pay rate will be based off experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques on various materials.
• Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape and cut metal components as per specifications.
• Using band saws and other power hand tools to cut metal to required specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
• Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished products within the worksite.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Proficiency in plasma cutting, blueprint reading, and using power tools.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; certification is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in welding/fabrication preferred.
