Production Worker

Vision Green, LLC (VG) is a privately-held company who supplies the best erosion control and turf products in Evansville and the tri-state area to help customers create, maintain, and preserve their landscaping. Vision Green also services contractors in the area with erosion control, geotextile, coir products, permanent mats, silt fence, and other products. Our company is continuing to grow and has begun the manufacturing of silt fence products. We are looking for hard-working team players to help in the production of these products and to grow with the company.

Summary:

The Direct Labor position is responsible for manufacturing silt fence and related erosion-control products in safe, efficient, and quality-focused manner. This role involves operating production equipment, handling raw materials, assembling finished products, and preparing orders for shipment. The position is hands-on, physically active, and critical to meeting daily production goals.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

· Prior manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience a plus

Education Requirements:

· High School diploma or GED

Essential Job Functions:

· Operate manufacturing equipment used in the production of silt fence products.

· Load, unload, and move raw materials such as geotextile fabric, wire fencing, and posts.

· Assemble silt fence products according to specifications and work instructions.

· Inspect materials and finished products for quality, defects, and compliance with production standards.

· Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and routing maintenance as required.

· Package, label, and stack finished goods for storage and shipment.

· Maintain accurate production counts and report output to supervisors.

· Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

· Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA guidelines.

· Assist with other production or warehouse tasks as needed to support operations.

· Be flexible to perform any work that is necessary.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
