Job SummaryWe are seeking a versatile, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented

Bottling Line and Warehouse Team Member to support all aspects of our craft distillery operations. This hands-on role involves production tasks including bottling line operations across multiple stations. Team members are cross-trained and expected to rotate through various bottling line positions to ensure flexible, efficient production of high-quality spirits. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and committed to quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced distillery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bottling Line Operations (Cross-Trained / Versatile Role): Line operators are required to be versatile and will receive training to perform the following positions as needed:

  • Filler: Places bottles on the line after cleaning the bottles out. Monitor fill levels in vessels/bottles, maintain vessel placement rate to match fill rate, and ensure consistent, accurate filling.
  • Capper: Monitor capper machine operation, communicate faults, clear jams, place closures as necessary, and oversee induction sealer (when in use).
  • Labeler: Monitor label placement for accuracy, minimize label errors, ensure label spools do not run out, and perform quality checks on labeling.
  • Off Packing: Remove finished units from the line into appropriate cases, verify correct case counts, conduct quality checks for unit compliance (e.g., fill, cap, label integrity), and monitor taper for tape application and errors.
  • Palletizing: Apply case numbers/lot information to finished cases, follow pallet schematics for proper case placement, wrap pallets securely, and ensure pallet stability before transfer to finished goods storage.

General Duties:

  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
  • Perform line set-up and changeovers for different products or bottle formats.
  • Conduct facility-wide cleaning, landscaping, and general maintenance.
  • Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of bottling line equipment, production areas, and facility to meet hygiene, GMP, and safety standards.
  • Assist with other production support tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a distillery, bottling/packaging line, manufacturing, warehouse, or production environment is highly desirable (craft spirits experience a plus).
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry for extended periods (regular lifting 25–50 lbs; occasional up to 75 lbs with assistance).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating/monitoring automated equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail, especially for quality checks.
  • Willingness to learn and rotate through multiple roles with provided training.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (company may provide training).
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn spirits production standards, food/beverage safety (e.g., GMP, HACCP, TTB compliance), and hazard protocols.

Hiring ProcessTo ensure a strong mutual fit, we conduct a 4-5 day paid working interview for qualified candidates. During this period, you will perform actual job duties under supervision to demonstrate your ability to keep up with the pace, learn processes, and contribute effectively to the team. If you successfully complete the working interview and meet performance expectations, you will transition to full-time employment with a 90-day introductory period. During this introductory period, both you and the company will evaluate ongoing fit, with performance feedback provided to support your success.
