Products Development Team Leader

We are looking for a dynamic Products Development Team Leader to design, enhance, and manage lending products across their full lifecycle. This role is responsible for product structuring, pricing, customer value propositions, and portfolio performance—balancing customer needs with profitability, risk, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end development and enhancement of consumer lending products—from concept and business cases.

- Liaise with cross-functional teams (Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, IT, and Compliance) to ensure alignment, feasibility, and timely delivery of product features and initiatives.

- Support go-to-market execution: create product documentation, sales enablement materials, training content, and marketing briefs.

- Monitor and analyze portfolio KPIs (e.g., volumes, yields, delinquency, approval rates) to drive continuous improvement.

- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential product enhancements.

- Build and present business cases including financial modeling, pricing scenarios, and ROI projections.

- Review performance dashboards and validate achievement versus targets, ensuring strong financial and profitability outcomes.

- Define and manage product structures—including tenures, pricing, fees, repayment plans, eligibility criteria, and promotional mechanics.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid understanding of consumer lending, credit economics, profitability drivers, and P&L dynamics.

- Strong analytical capabilities with experience building and interpreting financial and pricing models.

- Ability to design structured, customer-centric products with clear documentation.

- Strong judgment in balancing customer value, risk exposure, and commercial impact.

- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, project management, and execution discipline.

Experience & Qualifications

- 2–4 years of experience in product development or product management within consumer finance, leasing, or banking.

- Experience working with lending systems, product configuration, and policy frameworks.

- Proven track record in leading or supporting product development initiatives or projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
