Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drink options that enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and place orders to ensure smooth bar operations
• Uphold responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service in fine dining or nightclub settings

Skills

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments with strong food handling knowledge
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Outstanding customer service abilities to create an engaging atmosphere and foster guest loyalty
• Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and inventory calculations using retail math principles
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced hospitality setting
• Familiarity with beverage brewing techniques and retail math for inventory management
