Job Summary
**Position:** Production Chef / Institutional Cook – Central Kitch

**Job Overview**

Regina Caterers is seeking an experienced **Production Chef or Institutional Cook** to work in our **central food production warehouse**. This facility prepares and distributes large quantities of meals for **shelters, schools, daycare centers, and community programs**.

This is **not a restaurant position**. The role focuses on **high-volume meal production, food safety compliance, and organized kitchen operations** in a regulated commercial food production environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and cook **large-scale meal batches** in a commercial production kitchen

* Follow **HACCP food safety procedures**, temperature controls, and sanitation standards

* Knowledge of Agriculture policies

* Work with **bulk ingredients, agricultural products, and wholesale market deliveries**

* Ensure proper **food labeling, storage, and FIFO inventory rotation**

* Assist with **meal production planning and portion control**

* Maintain compliance with **FDA, local health department, and institutional food service standards**

* Work closely with warehouse and distribution teams to ensure timely meal preparation

**Qualifications**

* Experience in **institutional kitchens, catering production kitchens, or food manufacturing environments, & markets**

* Strong knowledge of **HACCP and food safety procedures**

* Ability to cook and manage **high-volume food production (hundreds to thousands of meals)**

* Experience handling **bulk ingredients and wholesale food suppliers**

* Food Safety Certification a must

**Preferred Experience**

* School meal programs

* Shelter or community feeding programs

* Central kitchen / commissary kitchen operations

* USDA or institutional food compliance environments

**Compensation:** Competitive salary based on experience.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
