Job Type: Part-Time Employee (W-2)
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00/Hour
Schedule: Part-time to start (10–20 hours/week), with opportunity to grow into full-time

About the Role

Doggie Den Inn is growing, and we’re looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Dog Groomer to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate groomer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with both pets and people.

What We Provide

All grooming facilities, products, and essentials are provided, including:

• Grooming table
• Dog wash station
• High-velocity dryer
• All disposable products such as shampoos, conditioners, and cleaning supplies
• Towels for drying

You are expected to provide your own grooming tools, including clippers, scissors, blades, brushes, combs, and other personal-use equipment.

Additional benefits include:

• Steady grooming opportunities from boarding clients (exit baths, nail trims, full grooms)
• Pet CPR/First Aid certification (must be completed within 30 days; paid by employer)

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 5 years of professional grooming experience
• Professional grooming certification preferred but not required, such as:
• NDGAA (e.g., Certified Groomer or Master Groomer)
• AKC PGC or AKC S.A.F.E.
• IPG or other nationally recognized credentials
• Cat grooming experience is a plus
• Professional, positive attitude and teamwork mindset
• Flexibility – this position offers no guaranteed number of hours and may vary week to week
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction

• Maintain high-quality grooms with positive client feedback
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and clear communication
• Uphold Doggie Den Inn’s safety and cleanliness standards
• Represent the business positively in all client interactions
• Work collaboratively with kennel and front desk staff
