Professional Dog Walker near Marina del Rey 9-3pm Weekdays

Professional Dog walker wanted to join our amazing team at Spoiled Pooch.

Seeking locals only near Marina del Rey.

Schedule is Monday thru Friday

4-6 hours a day; 9am - 3pm (varies by day but will fall between these hours)

20-30 hours a week starting at $22 an hour

Must love dogs, have their own reliable transportation and smart phone, and be in good physical health. Some of our clients dogs are large breed (all are friendly) so you will need to be confident and strong enough to handle walking them. If it is not a good fit we will not pair you with that client.

The position available is for a GROUP DOG WALKER. You would be picking up 2-6 dogs and driving them in your car to a fun location to walk/hike all of the dogs together for one to two hours. You can meet up with other team members and walk your packs together to start.

What your work day would look like:

1. Follow your schedule in the app (no it is not Wag), you'll have the same clients each week.

2. Drive to each clients home (in and around the westside of Los Angeles: Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, Venice, Westchester) to pick up pack dogs. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.725 per mile or current California rate.

3. Once you arrive at clients home you will follow instructions in the app to enter clients home and leash their dog(s) using our own leash(es). You will be trained on this in person.

4. When all of the pack (2-6 dogs) have been picked up, drive to a fun location to walk or hike, you can meet up with our other walkers and walk together or do your own thing.

5. After the walk is finished (one to two hours), safely return the dogs to their home and send client an update and photo through the app. Provide any after walk care needed such as refreshing water bowls.

Private walks in the morning or evening plus overnight pet sitting or boarding is also available as extra income / commission, we can discuss during the phone interview. This is a part time position with a maximum of 30 hours per week, plus piece rate for overnights.

This is a fun, active, rewarding part time job. Looking for team members that want to stay with the company for a long time and build client relationships. No temporary hires as we aim to build long term relationships with our clients. In business since 2012.

Easy to use app, support from team members and managers, paid training ($20 per hour) and introductions to dogs and clients provided. Looking to hire locals from the westside - so you can work close to home and avoid traffic.
