Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Professional Engineer II (Civil) to join our dynamic team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and practices, with the ability to manage projects, provide technical expertise, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and oversee civil engineering projects including site development, infrastructure, and transportation systems.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and engineering staff.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluate project progress to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design software and tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with project management and client relations preferred.
