We are currently looking for experienced, dependable animal lovers to join our growing team.

This opportunity is especially wonderful for retirees, real estate professionals, veterinary staff, or individuals with flexible schedules who enjoy meaningful work with animals while maintaining independence.

Please note: this is not an entry-level position. We are building a small, trusted team of caregivers who understand the responsibility that comes with entering clients’ homes and caring for pets as if they were their own.

Position Type - Per Diem / On-Call

Our services run 7 days a week, including holidays, and visits occur throughout the day.

This position is not suitable for individuals who are only available evenings or weekends, or who require a strict schedule. Our team members must have flexibility to assist with visits at varying times throughout the day as needed.

Services may include:

• Morning visits
• Midday / afternoon visits
• Evening tuck-in visits
• Overnight stays in clients’ homes
• Holiday care
• Pet taxi services for vet or grooming appointments

Our best Pau Pair team members are people who:

• Have previous hands-on experience caring for animals
• Are extremely reliable and accountable
• Are comfortable working independently in clients’ homes
• Pay attention to detail and follow care instructions carefully
• Communicate openly and professionally
• Truly enjoy building relationships with the pets they care for

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Have previous experience caring for animals
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Have a smartphone and strong communication skills
• Be comfortable entering and caring for pets in clients’ homes
• Pass our screening and vetting process
