Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to ensure lush, healthy turf.
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for planting, pruning, trimming, and general landscape installation or repair.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or tree trimmers.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal watering efficiency.
• Use excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or landscape projects requiring heavy-duty work.
• Provide snow plowing services during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients and visitors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in landscaping, lawn care, or grounds maintenance with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, landscaping equipment, and small machinery such as excavators.
• Familiarity with gardening techniques, tree care practices, hardscape installation, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently; experience with power tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of snow plowing procedures and safety protocols during winter weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials is essential.
