Staring Pay: $17.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from designated locations using medical gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Ensure patients are securely and comfortably positioned during transport, adhering to company protocols and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients.
• Inspect and prepare medical gurneys and wheelchairs before each use to ensure functionality and cleanliness.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or damage promptly to maintenance staff for repair.
• Follow company policies and regulatory guidelines regarding patient handling, including proper body mechanics and lifting techniques.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients to ensure clear understanding and coordination of transport logistics.
• Demonstrate empathy, respect, and sensitivity toward patients and their families during all interactions.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and represent the company positively in all communications and interactions.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 18 years of age or older
• Must read, write and speak English and exhibit excellent communication skills
• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Valid California driver’s license
• California DMV Motor Vehicle Report
• CPR / First Aid Card
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
