Hours: (M-F) 9am-5pm

A family in Glenarden, MD is seeking to hire a reliable, proactive, and organized nanny to care for their 17-month-old toddler. They are looking for someone with high energy who can keep up with an active little one while creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can partner closely with parents, providing updates and working together to support the child’s growth and daily routine. Experience with toddlers is essential, along with a genuine understanding of early childhood development and a passion for fostering learning through play and thoughtful interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide age-appropriate educational stimulation, including reading, sensory play, outdoor time, and hitting developmental milestones.
• Maintain a clean and organized nursery, play area, and family room.
• Handle all laundry for the baby (washing, drying, folding, and putting away).
• Assist with light household tasks related to the child (e.g., tidying the kitchen, loading the dishwasher, keeping common areas tidy).
• Prepare healthy, age-appropriate snacks and meals for the toddler and occasional meal prep for the family.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of recent professional nannying experience⁣
• Must be legal to work in the US
• Must be local to the DC-metro area (DC, MD, VA)
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record & car⁣
• Must be Covid-vaccinated with recent vaccine or Booster
• Must be up to date on TDAP and flu vaccinations
• Must be CPR certified

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour
