Professional Pet Care Specialist

We’re looking for dependable, pet-loving humans to join our pack as Professional Pet Care Specialists.

This isn’t your typical job—your “coworkers” may nap in the sun, drool on your shoes, or sprint after a squirrel mid-walk (don’t worry, you’ll get used to it).

What You’ll Do

• Go on daily adventures with dogs (a.k.a. walks), rain or shine.
• Provide meals, fresh water, litter box care, and TLC for pets of all kinds.
• Offer companionship, playtime, and even light obedience training during visits.
• Safely administer medications (training provided if needed).
• Write fun, detailed visit reports with photos—because pet parents live for updates.
• Occasionally chauffeur pets to appointments, outings, or volunteer walks with shelter pups.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable, pet-loving humans who live in Midlothian or Bon Air areas.
• Consistent part-time availability, especially midday (11am–3pm) or evenings (3pm–9pm), plus some weekends.
• Valid driver’s license + reliable, insured vehicle.
• Smartphone with data, GPS, and a solid camera.
• Hands-on animal experience (professional pet care a plus, but we’ll train the right people).
• Physically able to walk multiple miles a day, wrangle a 100lb goofball, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator—because reliability is everything.
• Must pass a background check
• Must be 18 years old +
