At Walk This Way Pet Care, we help busy pet parents feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for. Now we’re looking for reliable, animal-loving people to join our team as Professional Pet Care Specialists.

This isn’t a desk job. Your “office” might be a sunny trail, a cozy living room with a purring cat, or a backyard zoomies session.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Walking dogs daily (yes, even when the weather isn’t perfect)
• Feeding pets, refreshing water, scooping litter boxes, and keeping things tidy
• Giving pets attention, playtime, and basic training reinforcement
• Administering medications when needed (we’ll train you)
• Sending detailed updates with photos so pet parents know their pets are thriving
• Occasionally transporting pets to appointments or outings

Who We’re Looking For

• Animal lovers who live in Midlothian or Bon Air
• Consistent part-time availability (midday 10am–3pm, evenings 3pm–9pm, and some weekends)
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle
• Smartphone with data, GPS, and a good camera
• Experience with animals (professional experience is a plus—but not required)
• Comfortable being active—walking several miles a day and handling dogs up to 100 lbs
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when needed
• Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented
• 18+ years old and able to pass a background check

• You’re looking for guaranteed full-time hours
• Midday or weekend availability doesn’t work for you
• You prefer a sedentary job
• Cleaning up after pets (yes, all of it) isn’t your thing
• You’re unable to pass a background check or are under 18
