Professional Pet Groomer

At Pampered Paws, we provide premium grooming and care services for pets, ensuring that each furry friend leaves looking and feeling their best. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. If you have a love for animals and a passion for grooming, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Pet Grooming:
• Perform grooming services for dogs and cats, including washing, trimming, cutting, and styling according to breed standards and customer preferences.
• Clean and maintain pets’ coats, nails, ears, and teeth.
• Use grooming equipment and products safely and efficiently.
• Handle all pets with care, ensuring their comfort and safety during grooming.
• Client Communication:
• Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations.
• Update clients on their pets' condition and grooming progress.
• Address any special requests or concerns related to the pet’s grooming needs.
• Safety & Health:
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or skin conditions during grooming sessions.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area to ensure hygiene and prevent accidents.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines while using grooming tools and products.
• Product Knowledge & Sales:
• Recommend grooming products, such as shampoos, conditioners, and pet care items, based on the pet’s needs.
• Promote and upsell related products to clients, including grooming packages and retail items.
• General Maintenance:
• Keep grooming tools and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Ensure the grooming area remains tidy and organized at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a pet groomer (certifications and training are a plus).
• A passion for animals and excellent knowledge of pet breeds and grooming styles.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and their pets.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting pets, and performing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of grooming products, tools, and best practices.
• Patience, attention to detail, and a compassionate nature.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pet grooming in UAE: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Preferred)
• Tagalog (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• UAE Driving License (Preferred)

Location:

• Ajman (Preferred)
