Professional Pet Sitter

Job Summary
Join our team as a Professional Pet Sitter and help clients and pets of all walks of life. We offer drop-ins, overnights, 24 hour extended stays, dog walking, and so much more. If you have a passion for pets and have professional experience. This job is perfect for you.

Duties

• Provide daily pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, administering medication, and companionship
• Handle animals with confidence using proper tools and handling techniques to ensure safety for pets and yourself
• Reinforce training activities established by owners to promote good behavior and socialization
• Recognize signs of veterinary concerns or distress in animals and communicate effectively with pet owners and management
• Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep pets comfortable and healthy - if asked for and added on by owner.

Experience

• Prior experience in pet sitting, animal care, or related fields such as veterinary technician or assistant roles is highly preferred
• Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills is preferred
• Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and reassure them while they are away.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
