While this is an independent contractor role, we operate as a collaborative, team-oriented group. Our sitters interact with clients, pets, and each other regularly, so being a strong communicator and team player is essential.

About the Role
This is a long-term independent contractor position. Most of our clientele are in Greensboro, Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Jamestown and the surrounding areas. You will need to be comfortable with regular commutes and meetings at our home base in GSO
You will have control over your availability and schedule, and your income is based on the bookings you accept. However, consistent availability is key to maintaining client relationships and receiving priority bookings. The bulk of our clientele lives in

Services may include:

• Dog walks & day work such as drop-ins & day stays
• Pet sitting overnight in client homes
• Medication administration (oral required; subcutaneous injections)
• Care for multi-pet and special-needs households

Required Experience: 1–2+ years of paid pet care experience required
Experience with medication administration, multi-pet households, and independent care. Pet care experience can include kennel tech, vet tech, pet store, pet boarding facilities, etc.

Personal pet ownership or a couple of pet-sitting gigs alone does not qualify.

Availability Expectations

• Consistent weekly availability
• Availability for weekends, holidays, and/or high-demand times
• Reliability in the schedule you provide is essential

Expectations for Reliability & Team Fit

• Respond to booking requests promptly (within ~1–2 hours during the day)
• Follow through on all accepted bookings
• Provide detailed client updates with photos via company software
• Maintain professionalism in client homes
• Communicate effectively with team members when needed

Trial Period
30–60 days to assess reliability, communication, client feedback, and overall team fit.

Compensation

• Pay is based on services rendered
• Greater availability and consistency = more opportunities
• Priority given to reliable, long-term sitters
