JOB REQUIREMENTS

Basic communication skills

Be able to self manage and deal with high stress situations

Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights , weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES
Give dogs walks or runs if requested

Give potty breaks to dogs

Play time i.e. fetch, tug of war, chase, etc.

Snuggle time

Petting time

Feed

Refill water dishes

Administer medications if necessary

Clean any messes created by animal including vomit, feces and urine

Clean litter boxes

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must have basic computer skills and be able to manage email daily

Must have basic knowledge of animal behavior  Background in customer service

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Walking for short and long periods throughout work day

Bend, twist and kneel throughout work day

Ability to run short distances if necessary

Withstand various types of weather, including sun, wind, and rain

Physically manage one or more dogs on leash

Lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds
