Job Description

JP Custom Leatherworks is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented individual to capture and produce high-quality photo and video content that showcases our products, brand, and story.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, shooting, and editing content for use across our website, social media, and marketing campaigns. This includes product photography, lifestyle shoots, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional videos.

You’ll play a key role in how our brand is presented—helping us visually communicate the quality, craftsmanship, and purpose behind every product we make.

This is a hands-on, creative role that requires both technical skill and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photos and videos of our products
• Capture lifestyle content featuring our gear in real-world or staged environments
• Create engaging content for social media (Instagram, website, ads, etc.)
• Edit and retouch images to ensure consistency with brand standards
• Produce video content including product showcases, promos, and behind-the-scenes footage
• Collaborate with the team on creative direction, campaigns, and new ideas
• Organize and manage digital assets (photos, videos, files)
• Ensure all content aligns with brand identity and quality standards
• Stay up to date with trends in photography, videography, and social media content
• Maintain and care for equipment and workspace

Qualifications

• Proven experience in photography and videography (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera settings
• Ability to shoot both product and lifestyle content
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and branding
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and able to take projects from concept to completion
• Experience with social media content creation is a big plus
