Key Responsibilities
- Edit and Assemble Content: Review raw footage and assemble it into a cohesive final product, ensuring logical sequencing, narrative flow, and brand consistency.
- Motion Graphics & VFX: Create and integrate motion graphics, text overlays, lower thirds, and simple visual effects (VFX) as needed to enhance engagement.
- Platform Optimization: Optimize final video outputs (e.g., aspect ratios, file formats, captions) to meet the specific requirements of platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and our website.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the [Creative Director/Content Manager/Marketing Team] to understand project goals, implement feedback, and deliver content on tight deadlines.
- Asset Management: Manage, organize, and maintain the company’s video footage library, graphics, and project files for easy access and archival.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Experience: [2]+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably within a [marketing agency, media company, or in-house corporate team].
- Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with Adobe Audition or similar audio editing tools is a strong plus.
- Storytelling: A keen eye for visual composition, pacing, timing, and an ability to turn a simple brief into a compelling, audience-driven narrative.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of various video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and best practices for delivering high-quality digital content.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio of work demonstrating a range of editing styles and successful final projects.
