Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate microbiology lectures and labs.
• Design, update, and maintain comprehensive microbiology course curricula.
• Lead independent research programs in microbial sciences.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals consistently.
• Supervise and mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
• Secure extramural research grants and funding from agencies.
• Serve on departmental, institutional, and academic review committees.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on infectious disease research.

Skill & Experience

• Advanced expertise in bacteriology, virology, or microbial genomics.
• Strong record of peer-reviewed publications and research grants.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and laboratory management.
• Excellent teaching, mentoring, and academic communication abilities.
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and microbial data analysis.
• PhD or MD/PhD in Microbiology or closely related scientific field.
