Professor/ Associate Prof. – Pathology

Job Description

Professor or Associate Professor in Health Pathology teaches, researches, and advances the science of disease diagnosis in academic medical institutions. They mentor students, lead research projects, and provide expert pathology guidance across clinical and academic healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures and seminars in health pathology courses.
  • Supervise and mentor medical residents and graduate students.
  • Conduct and publish original pathology research consistently.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations of tissue and laboratory specimens.
  • Develop and update pathology curriculum and course materials.
  • Serve on academic committees for faculty and program governance.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams on complex disease case consultations.
  • Pursue research grants and secure external funding for projects.

Skill & Experience

  • Doctoral degree (MD, PhD) in pathology or related field.
  • Board certification in anatomic and clinical pathology required.
  • Expertise in histopathology, cytopathology, and molecular diagnostics.
  • Strong research, academic writing, and publication track record.
  • Proficiency in laboratory management and diagnostic imaging systems.
  • Excellent communication, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
