Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Office Management or related field.
Required Experience
Three (3) years’ work experience in office management and or medical office management or related field
One (1) year of work experience with Ellucian Banner, ERP, Office Suite, or a willingness to learn.
Required Credentials/Licensures
Certified Professional Coder with coding experience.
Preferred Education
Master’s degree in office Technology, healthcare administration, health information management, or related field.
Preferred Experience
One (1) year of teaching experience

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual Contributor
Work Environment: Regular exposure to loud noises while working in an Indoor clinical setting. Will include regular work required outside of normal business hours, including nights and weekends, and online courses.
Physical Demands: Lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, bending, repetitive typing, pushing up to 50 pounds, walking, occasional climbing stairs, regular use of and prolonged periods of verbal communication (including in-person and by phone), and regular operation of standard office equipment.
Valid and current driver’s license required – Yes.
Travel Required: Yes – 20% (Hospital sites, conferences, professional development, and events)
If travel is required, the candidate must have and maintain a current, valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
